As 2026 begins, I wanted to pause for a moment — and let you properly in on what’s changing here at Sue Where Why What, and just as importantly, what isn’t.
This space has always been personal. Story-led. Rooted in lived experience rather than expertise.
That part isn’t changing at all.
What is changing is the shape of how I share, create, and show up — in a way that feels truer, lighter, and far more sustainable for me. My hope is that it adds more for you too.
I’ll still be writing here each week — quietly, honestly, and without noise. If you’re here for reflection, travel as transformation, midlife courage, and real-life stories (the graceful bits and the messy ones), that rhythm continues.
One thing I am letting go of is 1:1 coaching.
This wasn’t a sudden decision, but a considered one. I want this space to be about shared experience rather than guidance or fixing. Less “follow me”, more “walk alongside.” It feels like the right shift for this season of my life and work.
You may also notice that the website itself looks and feels different.
I’ve given it a full refresh — not just visually, but energetically. It’s slower, clearer, more reflective, and easier to wander through. If you haven’t visited in a while, I’d love you to take a look and explore at your own pace. Check it out HERE and please let me know your thoughts.
There are also several free resources there for you to simply help yourself to, including a transformational travel worksheet, journal prompts on using travel as a way of healing, Life List ideas to spark possibility, and a practical (and sanity-saving) packing list.
No funnels. No pressure. Just offerings — there when you need them.
My Find Your Way signature programme remains quietly in place too, exactly as it is and always will be, now priced at £197 (around $250). One-time payment, no discounts, no pressure. It’s there for women who want structure, reassurance, and a way back to themselves through travel — gently, and in their own time. And it is everything I wish I had when I was standing on the edge of my own journey.
I’m also changing how I show up on YouTube this year.
It will mostly just be me, talking. No teaching. No (not quite) perfect edits!
Just stories from my life and travels — the highs, the lows, the meaningful moments, and occasionally the just plain stupid ones. Because that’s where the truth usually lives.
I’ll be changing my posting schedule too, so if you’d like to stay in the loop, make sure you’re subscribed HERE. And because this is new territory for me, I’d genuinely love your feedback as I go.
There’s also something entirely new on the horizon.
In around six weeks (fate permitting), I’ll be launching a brand-new YouTube channel with my husband, Larry called Our Reservoir Project: The Khaleesi. We’ll be sharing our self-build journey as we transform an old underground water reservoir into our forever home. See the photo to get an understanding of what a HUGE task this is!
Right now we’re waiting on pre-planning guidance from the local council, so I’m not tempting the universe by promising too much — but you can subscribe now and hit the bell so you’ll be notified when the first video drops. Weekly videos are the aim… honesty guaranteed, perfection very much not.
Finally, I just want to say thank you.
If you’ve been here a long time — thank you for staying. If you’re new — I’m really glad you found your way here.
My hope is that these changes add more than they take away: more honesty, more space, more resonance, and more room to breathe.
Here’s to 2026 — not louder, faster, or bigger. Just truer.
So, I’d love to hear your thoughts – what do you think so far of my new look and direction?
Until next time,
Safe travels,
Sue x

P.S. Helpful travel resources I genuinely use can always be found in this section. This week it’s my new favourite accommodation booking site. I have recently heard that Expedia offer some of cheapest rates and I have done a bit of a comparison lately to prove it. So, if YOU’RE looking for your next place to stay, try the link HERE.
